We have made some changes to our price list. Now we have a standard shoot including a make over as well as our print inclusive packages.

With the new ‘Standard shoot’ there is no obligation to buy anything aside from the $195 for the shoot itself, so it makes the ideal choice for those who want to wait and see what the shots look like.

Then you can buy as little or as many prints etc from our price list.

Our studio shoots are produced in and around our home in Tanah Merah where we have bought and created a lot of sets for artistic, boudoir, fashion, glamour, fantasy and portrait photography.

It’s actually easy really. Find someone who’s work you really like and that is not afraid to show you their price list BEFORE you go for the shoot. Our main price list is here and our model folio/actors folio is here.

The more time I spend as a photographer the more horror stories I hear. I remember I used to think they were exaggerated but over time you realize they are not.

Are we going to rip you off is a not uncommon question. Apparently many do, and some pretty high profile ones too. $200 for a small print after the $50 ‘get you in the door’ shoot.

We added a new package on Wednesday and did our first shoot with Lauren on Friday.

The new package is  $650 model/actors folio that includes make up and 8 retouched shots supplied as hi and lo res on disk or email. Extra shots from your shoot are $65.

There are no photographic prints included but we can supply Xerox prints for your casting book if you wish at $50 per set.

If you want to shoot with a friend for both your folios we offer a double package that saves you both $100 on the normal single price.

The package differs from our artistic/boudoir packages in that we limit to 3 hours and we can use the shots in our folio (so to get this package you have to be ok with that condition).

The other difference is that we assume you are good at posing (although we can help if your a little rusty or unsure).

Finally the retouching is a lot faster for us with actors/models so that allows us to further reduce our standard package prices than our normal prints packages.

Here’s some shots from Lauren. The shots for actors are generally less retouched and more natural as that is the requirement for casting agents.

We did this shoot around the house and the garden so everything you see is done here. For your shoot you can use any of our sets, our studio or the garden/pool etc and also head on out on location if time allows.

Having so many shooting options around our studio gives a lot of variety in one place making the most of your 3 hours.

In March we shot Belinda in a series of pre bridal photo as a gift for her new husband who was given the shots on their wedding day.

Belinda and her husband kindly gave permission for us use them here and the wedding was last week so here they are.

…Kelly D’Agostini from Sydney.

We drew the winner today and Kelly came out first so she wins a $595 ‘Package 2′ photo shoot with $130 make up by Erin (www.erinbigg.com.au)

There is one slight glitch in that Kelly is from Sydney and was visiting Brisbane over the weekend. She has now gone back to Sydney but hopefully we can shoot her in the next 2-3 weeks and get the photos on here for you all to see. Watch this space.

UPDATE: Kelly is going to America soon so the shoot will be delayed until May so look out for it then.

After what seems like an eternity our new sets are in and ready to shoot. It’s been a long time as we had to go to China to get what we wanted and even then it had to be made for us. We ordered them last September so it’s been a while, then we had to wait weeks for the special wallpaper for the set walls. It’s been a trial of waiting and a lot of hard work but it’s finally done!

Angela, our regular model for model folio updates, is currently doing a dance contract in Macau at the Hard Rock Hotel so we had to look elsewhere this time. I might be biased (Ang is my step daughter now but she is a very hard act to follow.

Yesterday we shot Elisha for our folio and she was wonderful. I first met Elisha a couple of years ago as she works in a local store. I made a mental note then that if I was ever short of a great model I would ask her. Well that day came and she did a fantastic job. How on earth no one has asked her to model before I will never know.I hope someone notices her now she has some good shots.

I also have a shoot with Erin Bigg. I was lucky enough to shoot with Erin a few years ago. Since then we have both done pretty well in our fields and we see Erin regularly as she does make up for some of our clients.

In modelling Erin has done so much since she last was in front of my camera (she is in Ralph this month for example) so I cannot wait to shoot her on Tuesday. Keep an eye out for the shots as we are going for a real vintage boudoir, Dita Von Teese, Moulin’ Rouge kind of a thing. Going to be so much fun!
