Solene & Fabien chose us for their pregnancy photography session in November of 2015 to help them visually document this amazing time in their life. They were expecting their first child, a baby boy, in early January but little David decided to stay a little longer than expected and arrived late. He was the most alert and largest newborn baby that we have photographed and he was awake for most of the session. Most newborns are sleepy but little David was having none of that. We managed to get him to drift off a little at one point, but in the end it really wasn’t an issue, as he was such a great little fellow. Not one cry from him. He seemed fascinated in what we were doing & he was the largest newborn we have shot to date, only just fitting into the newborn props.
Pregnancy photography sessions are best done at around 33 – 34 weeks so that there is less chance of an early unexpected arrival of your little bub. You can then start to plan your newborn session which is done between day 7 – 10 after your little one arrives.
We have fabrics as well as a cream and black robe available for your use and you are welcome to bring your husband/partner in for your session.
It doesn’t seem that long ago that a pregnant belly was hidden away and would definitely not be seen on a living room wall, but thankfully now, pregnancy photography is celebrated and cherished. Let us capture this special time for you with our expert posing, styling and editing and give you some amazing images that you will be proud to display in your home and pass onto your children and grand children.
Our maternity packages will begin with a relaxing makeover for the expectant mum, followed by a 1 – 2hr photography session, taken at your pace as we know that your not as mobile as you once were at this time. You can choose from mounted photos, folio box, albums, coffee table books and wall art, all of which will come with the digital versions of each print, or you may choose a digital only package.
